The project aims to create a WinWin solution via the exploitation of IAS for both European fisheries and companies active in the sector of aquaculture, nutrition and cosmetology. More specifically the research and innovation objectives of the project are summarized into the following points:

Conversion of undervalorized IAS feedstock into new natural resources of bioactive compounds which can be applied not only to cosmetology but also to food and aquafeed supplements.

Economic benefits

Creating a new type of fishery that will bring economic return benefits to the professional fishermen and maintain balance to marine ecosystems.

Productivity

Improvement of the productivity of European business and industry with environmental, economic and social benefit.
